Jeffrey Katzenberg Joins Forces in $15.5M Series A Funding for Innovative AI Video Ad Platform
Jeffrey Katzenberg, a co-founder of DreamWorks, has taken an active role in the tech landscape through his venture fund, WndrCo, which has co-led a $15.5 million Series A funding round for Creatify, an AI-powered video ad platform.
Creatify’s AdMax platform harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to swiftly create multiple video advertisements tailored for social media marketing. By analyzing successful video campaigns on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, AdMax refines its output to optimize performance.
The tech industry’s heavyweights remain optimistic about the future of AI in advertising. For instance, Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has expressed his vision of automating advertising with an AI tool that could experiment with thousands of ads across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.
While this level of automation may seem revolutionary, it is not an assured outcome. Katzenberg’s history in the entertainment sector stretches back to a time before DVDs, but not every venture has been successful. Notably, he was also the founder of Quibi, the short video platform that raised a staggering $1.75 billion but closed its doors just six months later.
