Exciting Launch: OpenAI’s GPT Store Set to Debut Next Week Following Delays
OpenAI’s GPT Store to Launch Next Week After Delays
OpenAI has officially announced that its long-anticipated GPT Store, a platform allowing users to sell and share custom AI agents built on the GPT-4 large language model, will launch next week. An email was recently dispatched to those signed up as GPT Builders, urging them to ensure their AI creations meet brand guidelines and encouraging them to make their models publicly accessible.
The GPT Store was first introduced at OpenAI’s developers conference last November. This platform aims to empower users to create AI agents using the advanced GPT-4 model. Access to this feature is currently limited to ChatGPT Plus and enterprise subscribers, allowing them to craft customized versions of ChatGPT-style chatbots.
Users will be able to share their GPTs and potentially earn revenue from them. OpenAI plans to compensate creators based on the usage of their AI agents, though specific details about the payment structure have yet to be revealed. Initially scheduled to open in November, the store’s launch faced delays due to a busy month at OpenAI, including the firing and subsequent rehiring of CEO Sam Altman. The opening was pushed from December further, but with this latest update, users are eager for the chance to showcase and monetize their unique GPT creations.
For those wanting to delve deeper into the world of AI and big data, the upcoming AI & Big Data Expo will take place in Amsterdam, California, and London. This event brings together industry leaders and offers insights into various technological advancements.
