Share Your AI Experiences: A Call to UK Students and Staff in Higher Education

The adoption of ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence (AI) tools is rapidly increasing within UK higher education. A survey conducted in February, which included 1,000 students, revealed a significant surge in the use of generative AI over the past year. With this trend in mind, we aim to explore how AI is influencing students in universities.

We are interested in understanding how AI has affected your academic journey. Have you employed AI tools in your studies? Have you ever been mistakenly accused of using AI when you did not? What guidance or support have you received from your universities or tutors regarding AI usage? Additionally, do you have any concerns related to this technology?

We also invite feedback from university teaching staff about the influence of AI on student work. What challenges are emerging from this shift?

Please share your thoughts and experiences with AI in the university context through our submission form.
